We're based at 4715 Auburn Way N, right here in Auburn, WA 98002, and we work the doors in this part of the county - not a call center routing jobs from somewhere else. Our service area runs out from Auburn to the towns that sit closest to us: Algona two miles off, Lea Hill just northeast, Lakeland Hills to the south, and out further to Pacific, the Lakeland communities, Sumner, Edgewood, and Milton. We don't claim years in business or a founding date, because that's not what tells you whether we can fix your door. What matters is that we know the housing stock in this stretch of Washington and what tends to go wrong with it. That's the pitch, and it's the whole pitch.
The Work We Take On
Most of the housing around Auburn went up between 1938 and 2003, with the bulk of it dating to the 1980s and 90s. That matters because a door installed on a house from that era usually has original torsion hardware, older extension springs, or a first-generation opener that's outlived its logic board. We work on all of it - spring replacement, cable and roller repair, track alignment, opener swaps, and full door replacement when a panel or section is too far gone to patch.
We're in a cold moderate climate band here, which means winter cold and damp cycle through every opener and spring the door owns. Steel doors on 1980s-era one-piece or sectional tracks take that seasonal swing hard, especially on houses that haven't had the hardware touched since it was installed. If your door still has its original torsion spring and the house dates to that build window, it's worth having it looked at before it breaks on a cold morning, not after.
One limitation worth saying plainly: we don't do custom architectural doors or specialty glass installs. If that's what you need, we'll tell you straight rather than take the job and figure it out as we go.
